    These USA made wool/polyester throw blankets using outsourced recycled wool are beautiful! They are warm and are a perfect size for cuddling up on your couch or using as an extra blanket on your bed! I will order more for gifts!

    Tried and true

    I entitled this tried and true because. I was lucky enough to win one of these blankets in a white elephant during Christmas camping. I had forgotten my blanket so, naturally, I wanted to steal the blanket that somebody already had, and I got it.! I was so excited. Later that evening, I used it as my bedtime blanket and was snuggly and warm all night. I love how it feels. I love how long it is. It covered me totally. I can’t say enough good things about this blanket.

    The blanket is nice and soft and looks really warm and the colour combination of the plaid is so pretty. The main draw back is that it has a strong chemical odor that has not gone away even after two washings. I am going to wash it again to see if the chemical smell goes away. Because of that I have not had the chance to use it. It did not shrink in the wash.

    Strong Chemical Odor

    The blanket has nice loft and appeared to be well made. The big fail is the extremely strong chemical odor. I could smell it the moment I opened the box. It is so strong that it burns your eyes and throat. I waited a few days to see if it would subside but it has not. I own many blankets and several have had the dreaded chemical odor and this one and one other I own are the worse. I doubt that I'll ever use it unless it would be in emergency from the waist down as a lap blanket....
