Oversized Cotton Blanket, Cable Weave Blanket

Oversized (130x96) blanket is all American Blanket Company promises and more. The collton material is just the right weight for my body and not too cold or too warm. If you keep the temperature in the room low, you may want to add a sheet or light blanket on top.

The width is somewhere between 135 and 140 inches wide instead of 130. Consequently, the blanket hangs down and gathers somewhat on the floor on both sides of our split California king.

On the bright side, my spouse has stopped winning the blanket war because there is plenty for both of us, even when one of our adjustable beds is raised and the other flat, which requires additional blanket width to cover the vertical differential in the middle.

We strongly recommend the blanket with the caveat that the aesthetics may not be as neat as some people prefer and vacuuming under the bed could be a nuisance.

No, we have not yet tried to shrink the blanket; we have not decided if we want it smaller. Decisions, decisions.

Finally, be aware that on these oversized beds, there is a LOT of material in the sheets and blankets and other linens, which makes them somewhat heavy and cumbersome. Making the bed is work.

It s about time that someone made a blanket that can cover a king size with two people in it who are both actually covered by the blanket! Congratulations, American Blanket company. I have wasted so much money buying undersized king size blankets that not only shrink, but never actually covered two people in the bed without one of them freezing or competing for coverage. Thank you. This blanket is worth every penny!

Made in USA (of Imported material). Oversized King blanket is just what I've been looking for. I buy American made when I can find American made products. Have been doing so for years.
I like my blankets to hang over the side of my mattress sometimes I even tuck them in. This blanket gives us enough extra so when my husband turns over and takes the blanket with him it doesn't leave me exposed. It is heavy so I would think it could replace a weighted blanket though I never had a weighed blanket. Cotton fiber which is natural versus synthetic material is another need.
It may cost more but keeping the labor to produce it here in the USA is definitely worth keeping someone employed. I will take good care of it as I do everything I cherish and am proud to own.

From the moment I saw the blanket in the plastic packaging I fell in love with it. It is absolutely beautiful.
It is warm and comforting and luxurious and large. I will be getting another one. I am so glad I bought it.
