Face Masks: Soft and Comfortable. American Blanket Company has taken our high quality fleece fabrics well known in the Home Textiles and apparel area and is now helping to fill the shortage of face masks available to the public. We are using our same machines that were making blankets two weeks and we now have assigned a few of those machines to the production of fleece masks. With so many masks being made and imported for the Hospitals, Health Care Workers and First Responders we felt it is important to make masks available to all those who do not have access to them.
Based on recent studies it is important to keep our mouth and nose covered when within range of another human who may have been exposed to or does not know they may be carrying the Corona Virus. It has become extremely difficult finding the traditional dust mask or surgical masks in the market today. We have designed and crafted a high quality mask made with high quality polyester fibers. This comfort fleece material has great filtering capabilities due to the pile height of the fibers within the mask material. The fabric is very breathable and can be washed and dried many times. We created a 2-ply mask with twice the filtering capabilities of a single layer and we have taken the extra steps to make a high quality mask similar to how we make our premium quality blankets.
Each mask has two elastic ear loops and each corner is back tacked to ensure the mask will last wash after wash.
